Wayward Child, Tim’s third solo album.
Tim Staffell, the former frontman of the band that later became Queen, returns with his third solo album, Wayward Child. The album's title reflects not only Tim's renegade past but also the lyrics, "time is a wayward child," which shows his wisdom, insight, and sensitivity as a songwriter.
The album comprises twelve "observations of life in song" and was recorded mostly live at Room To Studios in Barcelona with a group of international musicians and producers.
Wayward Child echoes Tim's eclectic influences, including Steely Dan, Ry Cooder, and David Crosby. Tim considers it his best work to date, and he looks forward to sharing it with the world.
